A few years ago I made a vegetable pie, but I lost the recipe and forgot about the pate. A week ago, a friend gave me her proposal for chufas. The recipe is easy and the aroma in the kitchen can’t be described. An ideal proposition for lunch, dinner or lunch at school and work.
vegetables depending on your tastes (me onions, peppers and fresh herbs)
100g of red lentils
300ml vegetable broth
100g ground chufas (otherwise flour with chufas)
Fry the vegetables in a pan (preferably on oil from chufas).
We add red lentils.
Pour the broth.
We cook everything over low heat to reduce the liquid.
We cool it.
Add the minced chufas, eggs, salt and pepper.
It may be more dry or wet depending on preferences.
The whole thing lands in a parchment lined with baking paper.
First, we cover with foil and bake in a preheated oven to 180 degrees.
After this time, remove the foil and bake for 20 minutes.
We serve according to preferences (eg with tomato sauce and potatoes).
