Cake with chufas and quinoa

This cake draws more with every bite. You can serve them with jam, honey or without additives, and was created in the search for the best cheesecake. I think that you can stop at this stage as well, because the cake is very interesting. Perfect for school, work and weekend getaway.


  • 200g of quinoa

  • 300g cheese curd cheese

  • 50g ground chufas (otherwise flour with chufas – here)

  • 100g sesame seeds

  • 2 large eggs or 3 smaller ones

  • spoon of vanilla essence

  • about three tablespoons of honey or maple syrup

  • half a teaspoon of gluten-free baking powder

  • if necessary, a few tablespoons of milk

  • pinch of salt


  • We cook rice combo with a pinch of salt according to the recipe on the packaging.

  • Strain and cool.

  • In a separate dish combine eggs, vanilla essence and sweetener, put curd.

  • Mix thoroughly.

  • We add baking powder, chufas and sesame seeds.

  • If the mass comes out dry, add milk.

  • Bake in a greased form of 25 minutes at 160 degrees.

  • After cooling, we absorb with taste.

  • Serve with apple mousse or sour preserves.
